The College is affiliated to Punjabi University
Patiala. The admission is granted in accordance with
the rules and procedures laid down by the Punjabi
University Govt. of Punjab & Federation of Self
Financed of college of Punjab for the year 2015-17.
- The B.Ed course is regular Two year course
(Four Semesters).
- The College has two hundred seats and is having
co-education.
- Eligibility:

The candidates with at least 50%
marks either in
the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s
Degree
or any other qualification declared equivalents
thereto
are eligible for admission to the Programme. Any
candidate
with 49.9 or less marks is not eligible.

The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and
other categories
shall be as per the rules of the Central
Government/
State government, which ever is applicable .There,
shall be relaxation of 5% marks in favour of
Sc/ST/
OBC and other categories of candidates. Candidates
with 44.9% marks or less are not eligible.

Medium of instruction: Hindi/English/Punjabi

Submission of documents: Important information
regarding
documents to be given to the College at the time
of admission.

Detail Marks of 8th class (required only in
case of candidates who have passed 8th class from
a school situated in rural area of Punjab.

Detail Marks card of all Examinations 10th
standard onwards.

Character certificate from the last institute
attended.

Reservation category certificate.
-
In case of OBC candidates an income certificate
is also mandatory.
A candidate must report to the College within
stipulated time. The candidature of a candidate
who fails to report to the College shall be
cancelled.
College Timings: Students are required to be
regular & punctual in the College from 9.00 am. to
4.00p.m.except on Sundays 7 holidays notified by
College.
Attendance: Each student is required to attend
minimum 75% of lectures delivered in the College.
The student shall have to attend classes notified
by the College even on Sunday & holiday.
Examination: The College shall conduct House
Examination. The date sheet will be notified
fifteen days before the conduct of examination. It
is compulsory for the student to appear in the
house test to be eligible for the annual
examination.
Assignment: Each subject shall have theory
comprising 80 marks along with practical and
assignments of 20 marks.
Practical: Practical subjects are Black Board
Writing, games, sports, gardening, and computer
science.
